Our Town: In the Round
These past few weeks, the Our Town cast has really been working on blocking. Since the show is in the round (the audience is on every side of the stage), spacing between characters is very important. Depending on where you sit in the audience, you will get a totally different show–so come watch multiple nights!
In addition, the cast has been practicing with pantomiming and getting used to space objects because there are only a few props in the show. We want the show to be stripped down as much as possible to allow the acting to shine through.
Stage Manager junior Amanda Ong said, “The show has been really fun to be a part of. By the end of the month, we hope to accurately represent our creative adaptation of Wilder’s classic play.”
