Mostly Sacred – Choir Concert

This Friday Dec. 11 at 7pm choir students will be singing in Mostly Sacred, the first choir concert of the year.

“There are a few secular songs in it, but the majority of all the choirs are singing songs about God,” junior Ashley Ramirez said.

Students in all different grade levels will be represented during the concert, which includes performances by Treble Choir, Concert Choir, Encore and Sage Hill Singers. The choirs have been practicing throughout the year in class and rehearsals to prepare for Friday’s performance and can’t wait to share what they’ve been working on.

“I have a solo in the choir performance so I’m really excited about that. I’m also especially excited to sing a song we have called ‘The Guppy and the Cow’. It’s a funny song so I‘m excited to see how people will react to it,” Ramirez said.

Admission to the concert is free, and all members of the Sage community are highly encouraged to attend.

“I hope people will come to the choir concert because we having been working hard from the beginning of the school year until now, and the concert represents a product of what we’ve done throughout the year,” senior Aaron Choi said.
