One Acts Opens Tonight
At Sage Hill School, students go above and beyond the classroom. One example is the yearly theater performance, One Acts, produced and directed by students in Theater Ensemble.
“One Acts is a lot of fun, much more casual than other school productions. They consist of little stories that are amusing and cute,” said junior Amanda Ong, a participant in the production. Amanda plays the role of “The Woman,” a.k.a. Loretta, who comes from Boys Life. This segment of One Acts is directed by senior Jodie Horowitz.
Other acts include Perchance, The Philadelphia, Girl Problems, Far, Far, Away and Today’s News. The entire cast and crew have been working hard to put on a great production.
“Through One Acts, I have been able to improve my acting. I really respect [Jodie’s] skills, so getting criticism from her is really helpful,” says Julia Blatz, starring as Karen in Boys Life.
One Acts opens tonight at 7 p.m. and continues tomorrow March 11 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
