Senior Night for girls’ volleyball was Wednesday Nov. 5 in the Peter V. Ueberroth Gymnasium against Laguna Beach HS. Varsity has gone undefeated during this Academy League season and continued their winning streak against the non-league opponent in the Peter V. Ueberroth Gymnasium.

There are four seniors on the varsity team this year: Maddy Abbott, Halland McKenna, Kekai Whitford and Ingrid Dickinson.

“Three of our seniors have carried this team for the past four years and made it what it is; this is a chance for people to [show their support] in one of the biggest games,” Dickinson explained.

“The energy [of the fans] has a lot to do with the success of our team. It help[ed] to have everyone there to pump us up, especially against a big team like Laguna Beach.”

Dickinson looked forward to Senior Night. “It will be nice to see the appreciation for the seniors, and it will be a really fun game.”

Frosh-soph was at 3 p.m., J.V. was at 4 p.m. and varsity was at 5:15 p.m.
