The first issue of volume 13 of The Bolt will be available on campus on Sept. 26 at around 10:30 a.m. in both The Bolt box outside the Diana A. Anderson Humanities Building and the office lobby.

After an almost five-hour-long production day, Publications Staff sent the completed issue to the printers on Sept. 24.

“[I]t looks really professional and [we] made every attempt to make sure it was correct,” commented Publications Staff adviser Konnie Krislock. “One down and five to go.”

The focus for The Bolt has changed this year—now the staff prioritizes quality over quantity.

“We’re working on providing more in-depth stories to supplement the news updates that students can find on The Bolt Online,” said senior Joelle Nanula, executive editor of The Bolt. “I’m so proud of our first issue, and of all the hard work our staff invested in it…we couldn’t be more excited to bring you the news!”
