Daniel Levy for President

Daniel Levy and Sarah Lowey, this year’s junior cochairs, may not have a science class together, but they certainly have chemistry.  They will work together to plan class competitions, pep-rallies and bonding events.

Daniel is “excited to be working with [Lowey],” and he knows they “will get a lot done in effort to unite the grade more completely than before.”

When asked what angle he plans to take to get the grade united for the pep-rally, Daniel responded with “the most important thing is to make people care and make people want to win, because winning is actually more fun than it sounds.”

Daniel believes that the more “interesting, more entertaining, more intriguing” an idea is, then “more people would want to check it out.” Getting together outside of school as a grade is a focal point for Daniel and Sarah for this year.

Daniel plans to take grade level bonding to a next level by avoiding “the trap that people fall into. That trap is everyone goes to a grade level bonding event, but [they] just end up hanging out with the same 10 people they already talk to on a consistent basis. They just strengthen the fact that they do not know other people.”

To that, he responded with, “we are going to change that this year.”

Daniel also “does not want to exclude anybody” from planning pep rallies and other things, but he wants the suggestions to be reasonable and practical. He plans on making sure that, “the people who want to be involved will be involved.” It seems he and Sarah are dedicated on bringing this grade together, and are looking forward to the year ahead.
